Spring & Easter

I know it has been forever since I have posted, sorry; life just continues to happen. But I will try to be better.

Well Spring is finally here, hopefully! Is anybody else tired of the lovely weather happening and then the next day it snows again!?! So hopefully the warm weather is here to stay.
So many things have been going on in my family since I last posted that this post will be a review of everything.

Christmas and the holidays were a lovely gathering of friends and family. I taught a bread making class for my ward. We went sledding down the hills right by our house a lot. Anna and Sean love each other only as a new brother and sister can do! Branden found out his rotations; all in Pocatello and Blackfoot and one in Reno, NV. With that there is only one more year of school left! YEAH!!!!
I taught another food class on Sauces and Seasonings and will teach how to use dry beans this week. Sean is crawling everywhere and walking along furniture; also desperately trying to stand up by himself. Anna is playing with her friends and going to be starting soccer and swim lessons in the next while. Branden has three weeks of tests and he will be done with his third year. I am spring cleaning this week: today's goals are cleaning the oven, clean out the storage closet, sweep the porch, put away clothes the kids have grown out of, and anything else that I can get to.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I took a cake decorating class at Robert's and I loved it. I will continue with the next course after I get to practice what I have learned for a bit. I am also taking a quilting class next Saturday. I will post a picture of the baby quilt when I am done with it.
Well, I think I am all caught up now on what has been going on with us. So for now on I can be more detailed on our life.

Thanks for listening!

Getting Started

I am finally starting a blog for my family and I. It seems like it is the thing to do these days, right. I actually thought it would be nice to talk about my family and my own personal things to other adults. I am definitely lacking on adult conversations these days, so hopefully this will be my way of having a nice conversation. This is all new to me, so just please bear with me. I promised my husband that I would not put a photo of him on my blog, but that does not mean that I can't talk about him! I have such an amazing husband who loves and supports in everything that I do. I started cooking waffles this morning when I noticed on the kitchen table a bouquet of roses and a card from him. It definitely was a fantastic start to the day! My little Anna just startled me by coming up behind me while she is supposed to be in bed. Now she is sitting on the floor next to me eating cereal out of the box (because that is the way she likes to it). Every day I look at her and wish that I could slow or stop time so she could always the be the little girl that I can hold in my arms and love. She is so amazing, smart, talented, beautiful, and fast (boy does she love to run). It is such a blessing that I get to be her mommy. Then I have baby Sean who is asleep in his crib dreaming sweet dreams. He is such a joy to us and Anna loves being a big sister. He coos, laughs, and smiles to big that it instantly brings such joy and happiness to you. Though when he is mad, he is definitely mad!!! You have to feed him, change him, or whatever he needs asap or your ears will pay the price. For myself, everything is fantastic, though I wouldn't mind getting more sleep someday, thus the life of a mom. As soon as I am done with this post, I will be finishing the bread recipe books for enrichment. I might be able to post a couple of recipes too! My life as a mom is more beautiful than I could ever imagine. I thank my lucky stars for such an amazing family. So this is the little start to my blog and as things happen I hope to be able share my family's accomplishment's and such with you. : )
